I have been immersed in technology innovation throughout my career and have built products to solve high value problems across multiple industries and applications.
DEEPLY Product is my quest to explore, understand, educate and make an impact towards responsible innovation and commercialization of technology.
During a five-year stint in developing and commercializing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) products at a large technology company, I realized the criticality of being intentional with disruptive innovation. AI/ML technologies have a tremendous potential to disrupt our future and I want to have a hand in shaping the use of these technologies to bring good rather than harm to humanity. I discovered my passion to contribute to responsible innovation and ethical applications of technology. I began documenting my learning in this blog a couple of years ago as I sought to pivot my career into responsible innovation.
I learned then that responsible innovation was perceived as a cost rather than a benefit, in organizations large and small – opportunities were few and far between. So, I channeled my energy in a different avenue to lend my skills and experience in transforming a mission-focused organization in an underserved industry. I continued carving time over weekends to stay connected with trends in responsible innovation and learning by taking on speaking engagements.
